Idag tog Peter och Marlboro med mig och Inger till "Stinky Street" här i Taipei, jag kallar den numera så för det är den gata/marknad i Taipei som är berömd för sin stinkande tofu.
Jag fattade inte vart de ville ta oss när Peter ringde och frågade om vi ville med så jag sa visst men när jag kom dit så kände jag igen ett träd där, har läst en artikel om just denna gata och att under just detta träd så skulle det finnas Taiwans bästa stinkande tofu.
Jo då luktade gjorde det.
och jodå jag blev lurad att smaka det oxå, och det smakar ganska mycket som det luktar...
Men nu har jag sett det iaf och det är ju ett måste när man ändå är här :-)
Today Peter and Marlboro took me and Inger to "Stinky street" here in Taipei, I call it that because its THE STREET in Taipei for stinky tofu.
Since I dont know that many places here i Taipei yet I didnt understand what he meant when Peter asked me if we wanted to tag along so I just sayed Yes sure we'll go.
But when we got there I imediately understood where we were since Ive read an article and I remebered the tree I now was facing. Under this tree is the best stinky tofu in Taiwan ,they say...
And yes is smells...
and yes I was tricked into tasting it aswell, and I pretty much thinks it tastes like it smells ...
But you have to test it and see this place when you are here, dont you.
